About Lakeland Orchard

In the spring of 2012, we planted our first crop of high-density, trellised apple trees, marking the beginning of our journey. Since opening our doors in 2013, our family orchard has grown exponentially.

Our Orchard Today

We proudly grow over 30 varieties of apples across 20,000 trees and 17 acres. Our orchard has quadrupled in size since its inception. In addition to apples, we offer:

  • Acres of 'Cut Your Own' Sunflowers, Zinnias, Snapdragons

  • 'Pick Your Own' produce, strawberries, and blueberries

  • A fully restored Country Carousel

In 2018, we introduced our beautiful Cider Garden, featuring:

Our Story

Lakeland Orchard & Cidery is part of the Roba Family Farms, which was established in 1984 by John Roba. What began as a Christmas tree farm has evolved into a thriving business, spanning two farms and over 100 acres of trees, pumpkins, and specialty crops.

Meet the Family

John Roba, along with his wife Sue and their children, Jennifer, Jeff, and Jake, have worked tirelessly to build the business. Today, the second generation of Robas is taking lead roles in managing the farms.
